Contest: Finding international volunteer leaders 2012

The contest “Finding international volunteer leaders”, theme “Global citizens: Exploring and conserving the world heritages”, is held by SJ Vietnam with the co-operation of Language Link Vietnam, launched in the educational program by UNESCO about the world heritages to celebrate 40 years of World Heritage (1972 – 2012).

The contest is organized to raise the awareness and encourage the youth in exploring and conserving the world heritages. Participating in this contest is an opportunity for you to improve necessary knowledge and skills, such as: English, leadership, teamwork, conflict solving, working in international environment.

Candidates: To apply for the contest, eligible applicants must be:
Vietnamese citizens
High school or undergraduate students who studying in Hanoi or neighboring provinces
Interested in English and voluntary activities
Willing to learn and develop


Process: Round 1 _ English test (26/04 – 30/05)
Round 2 _ Direct interview (01/06 – 04/06)
Round 3 _ International workcamp at Halong Bay (07/07 – 17/07)

Notice: The most excellent candidate will be the representative for Vietnamese volunteers to attend an international workcamp in Shanghai, China from 18th – 26th October, 2012.
